Argos operates two cement plants – one in Calera, Alabama, and one in Harleyville, South Carolina, with a grinding facility located in Atlanta, Georgia. The Roberta plant in Calera, Alabama, has an installed capacity of 1.6 million metric tons of cement per year; the Harleyville plant has an installed capacity of 1.1 million metric tons of cement per year.
Bulk Grey Cement can be distributed directly from the manufacturing site or through one of our nine cement terminals located in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina and Texas.The grinding facility in Atlanta, Georgia, manufactures, packs and distributes Portland, Blended, Specialty, Masonry and Mortar bagged cement products.
From standard ready mixed concretes for typical applications to high-spec custom mixes for the most challenging situations, our concrete plants are ready to produce and deliver exactly the right product to the right place at the right time. Argos operates over 220 concrete plants throughout Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Virginia, and Texas, including four mobile plants.
